In 1987 Cheers gets a flop spinoff, and Unsolved Mysteries spooks viewers nationwide. A decade later, Daft Punk debuts, Clinton cameos for cancer, and the Fish Called Wanda gang do another movie. Moving onto 2007, an iconic SNL character debuts, and Epic Movie fails to live up to its name.

The first Zelda sequel hit Japan this week in 87, but in 97 the whole world saw Chris Farley's Beverly Hills Ninja. Then in 2007 Pan's Labyrinth got a wider release and Jack Bauer returned for a sixth season, while millions experience World of Warcraft's first major expansion.

This week in 1987 saw the debut of Star Tours, while 1997 kicks off with the series premiere of King of the Hill, the PlayStation beginnings of Soul Calibur and Jackie Chan's First Strike. 2007 sees snow-covered shooter Lost Planet arrive on Xbox 360 and Eastwood's Letters from Iwo Jima gains a wider release as Rural Juror confuses 30 Rock.
